AS IT APPEARED IN THE INDIANAPOLIS DRUM FORUM 11/10/03;

THE KOOTZ SUCK..................

.....you into realizing that you don't have to be young to 'rock the house down'! Our very own Drumbob (Cianci)is the talented and effortlessly fluid drummer of this NJ based, 40-something rock and roll band which covers 60's and 70's tunes from the Beatles, Stones, The Who, Bowie, Kinks, Lou Reed and many more. But my favorite of the night, and most who were there would agree was Joe Walsh's Rocky Mountain Way. It's been a while since I've seen a good live band and let me tell you that after seeing this group the wait was well worth it.

Fellow-forumites Vinny (and Terry), Frankie A., PDFrogman (and Eileen) were with me at The Shamrock Inn in Clifton, NJ this past Saturday night and we all had a great time. The owner inadvertently double-booked the evening, so The Kootz had to share the night with another Gen-X band (Human Traffic) that held their own and had the crowd going strong as well.

Check out their website (www.thekootz.com) and if they come to a town near you, catch their show. The worst that could happen is you have a great time.

Bravo Drumbob (and The Kootz) and Thank You! 'The Kootz'.
You can't take it with you...so sell it to me!
